This post is part of the iOS9 Day-by-Day blog series. More details can be found on the index page.
Last week’s post on CloudKit web services marked the end of iOS9 Day-by-Day. After 13 in-depth blog posts and sample project, we have now switched back our minds to focus on adding some exciting new product features.
The series has been a BIG success and we hope you have found it useful. We’ve already had some great feedback, and nearly 40,000 users have viewed at least one of our blog posts.
By far the most popular post so far was on the topic of Search API’s. There’s already a lot noise on the wider web discussing if this is the second coming of search engine optimization. What is clear however, is that there’s a lot of interest from you all on how to make the most of this new addition.
If you haven’t read it yet, be sure to check out the original post. Chris has discussed the topic on the DevChat TV podcast, but it’s also on our radar to investigate further.
The complete iOS9 Day-by-Day series will again be published as a book, and available as a free download soon. This year we’ll also be looking at more exciting publishing options for those iBook fans.
Those 800 people who have already subscribed to the series will be the first to know when the book is available. If you haven’t signed up yet, be sure to fill in the short form below to make sure you don’t miss out.
On a final note
Whilst extremely busy, Chris wanted to extend his gratitude to you;
“I’d like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read any of the posts from the iOS9 Day-by-Day series. Hopefully the posts have helped you to pick up the new concepts and APIs from iOS9. I know that it’s been a great learning experience for me, and I hope it has for everyone else too!”
